Sometimes you have to open up and investigate can of worms nobody who is around knows about. That would involve you in various stacks of software with very weird quirks and unintuitive design decisions. That sounds like hell to me and am wondering how you’d be able to handle these without investing tons of time in learning the domain and the SW involved. I’d be interested in learning from your experience as well.
